Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the integrity of our data processing pipelines.

  • Test and validate data processing pipelines using a variety of tools and techniques, including Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python programming.
  • Analyze data flow and identify potential issues or bottlenecks in the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve the overall quality of the pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient testing of the pipeline.
  • Partner with other teams to ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on ETL testing.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Structured and Unstructured file formats, including Avro and Parquet files.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of SQL language.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Synapse Workspace, including Pipelines and Spark Notebooks, Pysparks.
  • Functional/Regression Testing experience.
  • Test Automation experience.
  • Git experience.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Visual Studio/C#/Java experience.
