Job Summary

As the Head of Talent Assessment Center of Expertise, you will lead Mercer's global Center of Expertise for Talent Assessment in India, driving profitable growth and continued efficiencies to best meet the needs of Mercer's growing Assessment business. You will build effective relationships with global market Leadership/SMEs and deliver on growth and profitability goals.

The CoE is the backbone of Mercer Assessment Solutions, supporting clients and consultants around the world to:

  • Penetrate new markets and uncover new opportunities
  • Deliver efficiently and delight clients
  • Drive the evolution of efficient technology
  • Evolve and manage a competitive product portfolio

You will report directly to the Global Talent Assessment Leader and be instrumental in driving operational efficiencies across all functional areas of the CoE and meeting internal and external service level agreements. Part of the role will also be overseeing integration into the wider firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide expert guidance to shape the vision, objectives, and execution of the CoE. Maintain a deep understanding of the talent assessment landscape and guide the CoE's evolution in response to industry changes and technological advances.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and the highest standards of quality. Lead cross-functional teams including product, technology, operations delivery, customer success, and international sales.
  • Service Delivery and Client Satisfaction: Deliver an exceptional client and candidate/participant experience within agreed parameters. Work with the consulting and customer success teams to optimize client onboarding, assessment delivery, and follow-up processes.
  • Profitable Growth: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Mercer leaders and consultants around the world to set local market strategy and ensure they have what they need to sell & deliver to clients.
  • Talent and Culture: Lead by example, fostering a high-performance culture with innovation, collaboration, and excellence at its core. Attract and retain top talent by helping CoE team members grow and thrive through learning opportunities, compelling career paths, and a sense of belonging.

Requirements

  • Passion for managing complex global operations, upholding high quality standards, and driving operational excellence
  • Strong business acumen, with track record of delivering operational improvements and scaling profitable growth across multiple geographies
  • Change management, with experience leading a team through org transformation while continuing to deliver on BAU
  • Collaborative stakeholder engagement and proven ability to influence without authority
  • Effective and personable people manager; minimum of 20 years leading a cross-functional team of 10+ individuals within consulting, HR technology, or Talent Assessment
