Job Title:
Sr. Electrical Design Manager - Dry Transformers

We are seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager with strong expertise in dry type or cast resin transformers.

The role involves leading the design and engineering team, overseeing transformer design projects, and ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the overall design strategy for electrical and mechanical disciplines, aligned with business goals and innovation priorities.
  • Drive adoption of advanced design technologies and tools, including automation, AI/ML, and digital twins, across all design functions.
  • Lead design governance to ensure compliance with international standards, quality, and sustainability objectives.
  • Collaborate with R&D and executive leadership to guide product development and integrate new technologies.

Qualification & Education:
Education: Bachelor Degree of Engineering

Candidates must have 10-12 years of proven design experience in dry type or cast resin transformers.

Candidates should also possess a deep understanding of transformer design, power systems engineering, and digital design tools.

Strategic thinking and ability to connect design execution with business outcomes is required.

Candidates should be able to lead change management and transformation leadership.

Able to innovate and collaborate with R&D teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Familiarity with Microsoft office and AutoCAD 2D is necessary.

Technical Competencies:
Advanced knowledge of transformer design, power systems engineering, and digital design tools.
Strategic thinking and ability to connect design execution with business outcomes.
