As a CPU Verification Engineer, you will contribute to the verification of high-performance and low-power CPU cores. Your key responsibilities will include developing scalable testbenches, driving complex test scenarios, and ensuring full functional coverage and quality sign-off.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on experience in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology. You will have a deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, including pipelines, out-of-order execution, caches, TLBs, and memory hierarchy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining UVM-based testbenches for verifying CPU cores and subsystems
  • Writing directed and random test cases to verify micro architectural features such as pipelines, ALUs, branch prediction, caches, MMUs, etc.
  • Driving functional and code coverage closure
  • Debugging failures using waveform tools, logs, and simulation dumps
  • Collaborating with architecture, RTL design, performance, and formal verification teams
  • Defining and implementing verification plans, test strategies, and regressions
  • Participating in specification reviews, microarchitecture discussions, and design quality assessments
