Job Title: CAD Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our VLSI design flows, PD CAD team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest advancements in VLSI design methodology and EDA tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl for automation and flow development.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics etc.
  • Customize and optimize existing design flows to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Integrate new tools and methodologies into the design flow to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science along with 5+ years of experience in CAD/Methodology/EDA team of any reputable VLSI based company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
