The Platform Product Group engineers build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency, and quality. Our teams work together to create critical platforms that enable our existence.
The FinHub team focuses on creating a platform for financial data, providing accurate and timely information essential for accounting and finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the platform for financial data
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise
- Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards
- Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
- Hands-on coding experience
- Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for Finhub engineering with technical leadership
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn vision into tangible roadmaps
- Add positive energy to meetings and make coworkers feel included
- Engage with upstream teams and enforce SLAs for data availability and quality
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
- Experience in upleveling junior engineers and setting high standards
- Possession of knowledge about high-quality code and software engineering processes
- Passion for building an open financial system that unites the world
- Experience working with NetSuite APIs
- Development of financial tools, such as reconciliation, ledgers, and balance matching
- Transformation of business/product data into accounting/financial domains
- Integration with banking partners or knowledge of bank statements (API-based, file-based, SWIFT)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL
- Experience working with finance and accounting teams
- Performance tuning of big data systems
- Kyriba integration experience
- Fintech domain experience
