Job Summary:

Certified Public Accountants are responsible for ensuring the financial health and integrity of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant to join our team as a US Accounting & Taxation specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure compliance with US GAAP. They will also handle US federal and state tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • As a key member of our accounting team, the candidate will manage and perform financial audits, internal controls reviews, and regulatory compliance assessments. They will consult with clients regarding tax planning, financial strategy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaising effectively with US-based clients is crucial, managing expectations and maintaining strong client relationships. Our ideal candidate will also stay updated on developments and changes in US tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Mentorship and training opportunities are available, making this role suitable for junior accountants looking to develop their skills and experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), USA certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working directly with US accounting and taxation.
  • Proficient understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and IRS regulations.
  • Prior experience in managing audits, financial reporting, and compliance assessments for US clients is desirable.
  • Experience in Big 4 or US-focused accounting firms is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, etc.) and taxation tools.
