US Accounting Specialist

This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional to provide direct support to our clients across a wide array of industries. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling client transactional accounting activities, including accounts receivable and payable support, month-end closing, general ledger activities, account reconciliations, etc.
You will participate in month-end close, including financial reporting and monthly reporting packages. Your tasks will include preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. You will also assist the client(s) with budgeting and forecast activities, as well as assist the US team with writing finance policies and procedures for clients.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience in US accounting. You should also be proficient in accounting software packages such as QBO & QBD. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, attentive to details, and possess solid interpersonal communications skills. They should be able to solve issues when they arise and be able to identify when there is a need to escalate a problem or concern to a more senior team member.
