Data Delivery Lead

We are seeking an experienced delivery lead to oversee data management projects for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing and delivering data engineering projects.
The delivery lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data management and data engineering projects, overseeing project planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery in alignment with client requirements.
Key responsibilities include providing technical direction and guidance on data warehousing, data integration, and cloud data solutions, engaging directly with client stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues, and manage expectations, ensuring robust governance, compliance with best practices, and adherence to data security standards, collaborating with architects, business analysts, and onshore teams to design effective solutions, proactively identifying risks, defining mitigation plans, and handling escalations related to delivery, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and implementing automation where possible to increase efficiency, and mentoring team members and helping build technical capability within the offshore delivery unit.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8 years in a data delivery lead or project management role for data projects.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of data management, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Proven experience managing data engineering teams working with modern cloud data stacks (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP is a plus).
- Working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with modern data architectures Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, and Big Data frameworks is desirable.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and project management best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.
