EDI Specialist with Advanced Technical Expertise

We're seeking a seasoned EDI professional to drive the design and management of EDIFECS workflows, develop HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions, integrate EDI solutions with FACETS modules, and collaborate with QA, business analysts, and Dev teams for successful deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workflow Management: Design and manage EDIFECS workflows using SpecBuilder, TPF, XEngine, and Route Manager.
  • X12 Transaction Development: Build and validate HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions, including 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 276/277.
  • Integration and Support: Integrate EDI solutions with FACETS core modules, such as Claims, Enrollment, Billing, and Provider. Provide ongoing support for EDI interface development, partner onboarding, and transaction monitoring.
  • Data Extraction and Reconciliation: Perform data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation to ensure seamless integration and accurate data exchange.
  • Tech Documentation and Agile Delivery: Maintain technical documentation and support Agile delivery processes to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare EDI & integration.
  • Expertise in EDIFECS (SpecBuilder, XEngine, Route Manager, TPF) and X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, etc.).
  • Intermediate SQL skills and strong troubleshooting & payer workflow knowledge.

This role demands a deep understanding of EDI systems, healthcare regulations, and technical documentation. Proficiency in Mirth, MuleSoft, Boomi, or other integration tools is a plus
