As a visionary leader, you will drive the scale and growth of our design operation from India. You will lead a team of 450+ designers across 5 studios in India, overseeing the number and complexity of client engagements, and fostering deep collaboration with 17 global studios to deliver best-in-class outcomes.

We are a dynamic team of problem-solvers distributed worldwide, dedicated to unlocking what's next for people and brands through digital products, services, platforms, marketing, and immersive experiences for top organizations. We strive to become the leading digital experience and marketing agency in India, leveraging the capabilities of our Indian studios on par with those globally.

You will guide the planning of design thinking workshops, inform user research or service design challenges, structure CX Centers of Excellence, and set up design systems without regard to regional boundaries. Your expertise will help shape our service offerings and value propositions, ensuring alignment with market trends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the scale of the design operation from India.
  2. Drive design quality, craft, and practice, enhancing overall competency of the team.
  3. Evaluate and refine our service offering and value propositions.
  4. Provide strategic design thought leadership within the organization.
  5. Guide new business strategies, approaches, and concept creation.
  6. Engage C-suite clients with design-focused sessions and workshops.
  7. Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients.
  8. Assess performance and provide career mentorship.
  9. Help attract top talent and build a studio environment where each member thrives.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience; 7+ years leadership/management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
  • A background in the agency world or running large-scale teams for startups and organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge of user-centered design processes and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Mastery in Product Design, Service Design, User Research, demonstrated through outstanding work performed by led teams.
  • References about outcomes achieved and leadership style.
  • Proven experience building aligned connections regionally and globally as a respected leader.
  • Highly proactive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on developing and launching new growth areas for clients.
