System Architecture & Design Lead

We are seeking a seasoned GIS professional to lead the design and development of enterprise-level GIS applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GIS principles and concepts, as well as strong programming skills in ASP.NET/.NET, C#, and Python.

The successful candidate will create high-level and low-level system architecture documents, outlining system architecture, data models, and component interactions. They will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-level system architecture to support enterprise GIS applications
  • Creating detailed technical specifications for GIS system components and services

The GIS professional we seek will also have hands-on experience with Oracle database and strong skills in SQL/PLSQL. They will work closely with business stakeholders to collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining the GIS environment, including ArcGIS/ArcFM Server and ArcGIS/ArcFM Desktop
  • Creating and administering GIS services to support business needs
