Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations and customer service by:
  • Reducing process cycle time and improving productivity levels.
  • Decreasing defect rates and adhering to quality control measures.
  • Utilizing resources effectively and minimizing wastage.
  • Optimizing resource allocation including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

We require a strong leader who can minimize and maintain resolution time for customers, as well as possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and logistics processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operations Director will also be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the operations team.
  • Conducting monthly performance reviews.
  • Driving team quality analysis.
  • Identifying training needs and ensuring completion of training.

The role involves strategic planning, operational cost control, process improvement, and transport management, with responsibilities including:

  • Introduction of new strategies for smooth operations.
  • Achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Alignment of strategies with organizational growth.
  • Cost reduction activities.
  • Variance between budget and actual expense.
  • Number of process improvements implemented.
  • Efficiency achieved.
  • Transport vendor development.
  • Invoice verification.
Inventory Management

The Warehouse Operations Director will be responsible for managing inventory levels of consumables to meet demand while minimizing excess, as well as:

  • Converting inventory to stock to meet customer order demand.
  • Ensuring physical inventory audit periodically.
  • Ensuring all new material addition in stock.
  • Ensuring timely movement of scrap material as per SOP.
  • Identifying slow-moving items and updating management.
  • Timely raising indents to management in case of low inventory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in reports and gate pass verifications, including:

  • Verifying overtime report.
  • Verifying production report.
  • Verifying stock report.
  • Verifying cutting making report.
  • Reviewing and verifying stock vs order report.
  • Gate pass verification and sign-off.
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the company's location in Noida.
