The Role of a Backend Developer

As a backend developer, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining robust systems that power our applications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Go, or Kotlin
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures
  • Experience in implementing algorithms to solve real-world problems
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining large-scale backend systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend systems for better performance
  • Demonstrated expertise in unit testing, peer code reviews, and agile methodologies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A history of delivering high-quality results on time

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Knowledge of security best practices for backend services and API endpoints
