Job Overview

As a GRC Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing Governance Risk Compliance systems for clients. This involves ensuring policy compliance, security requirements governance, and risk management.

  • Develop and participate in client initiatives to reduce technology risk, improve governance, and enhance compliance with policies and external regulations.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify potential areas of concern.
  • Establish and maintain IT security standards, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and enhance client security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Analyze information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environments.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements and designing clients' information security postures, as well as Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, as well as incident management disciplines.
  • Conduct internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, including assessing incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing, and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay current on best practices and technological advancements, serving as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
