PHP Laravel Developer

We are seeking a skilled Laravel PHP Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, test and deploy web applications using the Laravel framework, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions, collaborating effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Design Efficient Code: Design and implement efficient, scalable, secure code for web applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Code Reviews: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, contributing to the quality of our web applications.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications, providing timely resolutions and improving overall application performance.
  • Optimize Web Applications: Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
  • Integrate User-Facing Elements: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, creating seamless user experiences.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development, suggesting improvements to enhance application performance and usability.
  • Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation of code and project tasks, contributing to technical specifications and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  • Agile Methodologies: Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience in PHP web development.
  • Laravel Framework: Proficient in Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
  • OOP Concepts: Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Relational Databases: Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent.
  • Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • RESTful APIs: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
