About the Role

You will collaborate with our Product and Data Science teams to design and maintain multiple technologies including our API backend, credit scoring and underwriting systems, payments integrations and operations tools.

  • Building out APIs and backend systems for our frontend clients including our Android mobile app.
  • Integrating with various third-party systems including payment systems, identity providers and messaging platforms.
  • Developing new financial products that meet customer needs.
  • Scaling our backend services to handle growing traffic and complexity.

We value data-driven decision making and innovation from the ground up.

Requirements
  • Strong experience in building backend software for web-based or mobile products.
  • Experience leveraging modern AI tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of software development fundamentals including computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to balance technical and product needs to find optimal solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership of your work.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a distributed team and company with teammates from around the world.
