We are seeking a highly skilled Security Guard to join our team. As a key member of our campus community, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Job Summary: We are looking for an individual with excellent surveillance and patrolling skills to monitor the premises and identify any suspicious behavior or security threats. The successful candidate will also have strong incident response abilities to act swiftly and appropriately in emergencies or security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and patrol campus grounds regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior
  • Ensure all entry and exit points are secure and access is limited to authorized individuals
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations and provide first-line response
  • Maintain a visible and approachable presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to students and staff
  • Conduct security checks on buildings, classrooms, and facilities to ensure proper locking and safety procedures are followed
  • Report and document incidents, observations, or security breaches clearly and accurately
  • Coordinate with campus administration and emergency services in case of serious incidents
  • Ensure that the security post and surrounding areas are kept clean, organized, and ready for use

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years of experience in security or a related field. You should also possess excellent communication skills to interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors.
