">">Memory Layout Engineer Role Overview

">The Memory Layout Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing memory compilers layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts for our next-generation Cores. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop memory compilers layouts for optimal performance and power efficiency
  • Develop memory Fast Cache instances layouts to enhance overall system performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) results through effective communication and project management skills
Requirements:
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent field with a strong foundation in circuit design and layout principles
  • Proven understanding of CMOS Transistors and their behaviors, as well as CMOS logic design and layout concepts
  • Experience working with Cadence or Synopsys flows for backend verifications, including EMIR analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to create high-quality design rule-driven layouts
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to review schematics with engineering and propose changes based on layout implications
  • Exploring possible floor planning options and proposing improvements to optimize PPA results
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRAM/memory layouts creation and backend verifications
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
  • Basic scripting languages such as Perl for automating tasks and workflows
  • Knowledge of Power versus Performance versus Area trade-offs in typical CMOS design
