Job Title: Enterprise Database Architect
">About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced database architect to lead our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale databases. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database systems, experience with database design and development, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Collaborate with application development teams to translate data requirements into efficient database designs.
- Perform data modeling and create ER diagrams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6–7 years of proven experience as a Database Developer (MySQL & MS SQL).
- Expert-level SQL programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
- Experience with performance tuning and large-scale database optimization.
- Proficiency in administration tasks (backup, recovery, security, replication).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Knowledge of additional databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
