Job Description

A challenging role has become available for a skilled Senior Database Developer to join our organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience with database administration, reporting, and dashboarding. The ideal candidate will be able to design and build solutions that meet business needs and have the ability to work with multiple data sources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecture, design, and implementation of warehouse and reporting solutions. They will also extract data from bespoke applications and third-party products, consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse or data lake, and ensure data accessibility and structure for reporting purposes.

In addition, they will set up dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools, build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions, and stay ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Strong experience with creating and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Strong experience working with older legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc.
