IT Governance Strategy Manager

As a seasoned IT Governance Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping IT governance strategy, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling continuous improvement across IT functions. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
