Mobile Security Expert Wanted

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Security Expert to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of mobile operating systems, specifically Android, and be able to analyze malware and develop detection signatures.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app store policies and security best practices is essential for this role.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with network traffic analysis and protocol interception, as well as familiarity with SOC operations, SIEM configuration, IDS/IPS systems.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing static and dynamic analysis of Android malware.
  • Reverse-engineering malicious APKs and SDKs to understand behavior and intent.
  • Identifying spyware, trojans, rootkits, and other threats.
  • Analyzing network traffic and backend systems for vulnerabilities and data leakage.
  • Documenting findings and presenting reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Developing detection signatures (e.g., YARA rules).
  • Improving threat detection pipelines and automation systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • 2 to 10 years of experience in mobile security or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of Android internals and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with mobile app store policies and security best practices.
  • Experience with network traffic analysis and protocol interception.
  • Familiarity with SOC operations, SIEM configuration, IDS/IPS systems.
