Footwear Design Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative Footwear Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge footwear designs that meet the highest standards of quality and style.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in footwear design, with experience in traditional embroidery design, understanding of footwear production processes, and advanced skills in Photoshop/Illustrator and 3D design programs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative footwear design concepts that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with Design Management and Product Development teams to collaborate on design projects via samples, trend boards, and other communication channels.
  • Develop clear communications with vendors and factories throughout all phases of product development.
  • Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and directions through travel, market research, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Present seasonal product strategies and trend boards to stakeholders.
  • Interact regularly with Merchandisers on all aspects of product line plans, briefs, color palettes, pricing, themes, graphics, and strategies.
  • Ensure prototypes and samples reflect the concept and design created.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors' top sellers, technologies, styling, colors, strategies, and pricing.

Key Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:
  • Traditional embroidery design experience.
  • Understanding of footwear production processes.
  • Advanced skills in Photoshop/Illustrator and 3D design programs.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Footwear Design.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive shoe designing experience and knowledge of shoe constructions and materials.
