Financial Planning Professional

Responsibilities include:

  • Closure of Books: Ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Preparation of MIS: Prepare and review Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for business decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with key regulations, including GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect taxes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and bring efficiencies in financial systems and practices.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements: Assist in preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA-Finance with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous approach to managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
