Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Installation Manager to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for the solar industry and want to take their career to the next level.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on construction, installation and commissioning of renewable energy projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera or other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and quality execution of solar installations at the project site. This includes:

Project Coordination:

Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered on time.

Track project progress and ensure that it meets the established timelines and milestones.

Site Supervision:

Supervise daily installation activities to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.

Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular toolbox talks to ensure that all team members are aware of the risks involved.

Technical Support:

Assist with troubleshooting on-site technical issues and provide support to the installation team as needed.

Reporting:

Maintain daily work progress reports and submit them to the Project Manager.

Report any issues or concerns to the Project Manager immediately.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters and balance of system (BoS) components.

Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Problem-solving and time management skills.
