Job Title:

A high-voltage inverter mechanical engineer will be responsible for creating the mechanical aspects of inverters.

About The Role

  • Develop and design the mechanical structure, packaging, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
  • Familiarity with HV Inverter Mechanical Design and development.
  • A good understanding of High voltage Inverter components like Power modules, DC Link capacitor, EMC filter, Shielding's.
  • Knowledge on clearances and creepage distances.
  • Basic simulations on Structural, Thermal, etc.
  • Advanced skills in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).
  • Expertise in drafting and best practices according to international standards.
  • Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing knowledge.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
