The role of a Kafka Developer is a critical position in our organization. As a Kafka Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems built using Apache Kafka.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop: Design and develop efficient data processing pipelines using Apache Kafka, ensuring high throughput, low latency, and scalability.
  • Implement Security Features: Implement security features such as encryption, authentication, and authorization to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka configuration, consumer group management, producer behavior, and partitioning strategies.
Requirements:

We are looking for highly skilled individuals with experience working with Apache Kafka, Java, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with 4+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Apache Kafka. Strong programming skills in Java or other languages supported by Apache Kafka are essential.

Candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is desirable, as well as experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker.

Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field is expected from all team members.
