Hiring for Kafka Admin- Pan India Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Kafka Administrator to join our infrastructure team The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Apache Kafka ecosystem ensuring high availability optimal performance scalability and security of Kafka clusters across environments Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain Apache Kafka clusters in production and non-production environments Monitor Kafka performance and health using tools like Prometheus Grafana Confluent Control Center or equivalent Manage Kafka brokers topics partitions consumers producers and access control ACLs Implement and support Kafka security features including TLS encryption SASL authentication and RBAC ACLs Perform upgrades patching and tuning of Kafka clusters for improved performance and stability Manage Kafka Connect Schema Registry and Kafka Streams where applicable Troubleshoot issues related to Kafka infrastructure and coordinate with development teams for resolution Automate cluster management tasks using scripting Bash Python etc or tools Ansible Terraform Support disaster recovery and backup strategies for Kafka environments Document Kafka configurations operational procedures and troubleshooting guides Work collaboratively with DevOps SRE and development teams to support data streaming needs
