Job Purpose

To oversee Power Trading Control room activities, including IEX/PXIL bidding, Open access applications, MIS reports, and Portfolio management, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Power Exchange, Open access consumers, and Generators for bidding and commercial activities.
  • Prepare and punch STOA applications, send approvals, and follow up on consents and approvals.
  • Manage Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS reports, coordinate with F&A team for billing and reconciliation, and handle client queries.
  • Monitor and analyze daily power market results, forecast power sales, and track regulatory changes affecting the market.
  • Ensure uninterrupted power flow by analyzing PSP reports, Generation outage reports, and corridor availability.
External Interactions

Interact with Power Exchange, Open access consumers, Generators, NLDC, RLDCs, SLDCs, Power grid, Regulators, Consultants, Other Traders, and Utilities.

Internal Interactions

Collaborate with Heads of Power trading and PPA Management, other team members, and cross-functional departments (Coal, Finance, Regulatory, etc.) and Auditors.
