Job OverviewWe seek a skilled data engineer proficient in designing and developing scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and Step Functions. The ideal candidate will implement ETL/ELT processes for extracting, transforming, and delivering data from multiple sources. Effective storage management and optimization with Amazon S3 are also crucial.
- Implement unit and integration tests using pytest to ensure data quality and pipeline reliability.
- Collaborate on code reviews and CI/CD integration using Git/GitHub.
- Create clear technical documentation for pipelines, workflows, and design decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and AWS services.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in data engineering within the AWS ecosystem.
- Strong coding skills in Python with proficiency in PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Step Functions, and S3 is essential.
- Proficiency in pytest for test automation is required.
- Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows is necessary.
