We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Design Engineer to take on the design and installation of hydraulic systems for large mining products. This role involves responsible leadership in the development of complex hydraulic designs and the integration of various components to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs for hose/tube and mounting brackets using Creo software.
  • Design and integrate hydraulic components, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of complex hydraulic schematics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support prototype builds and on-machine tests to validate hydraulic components and perform critical design calculations.
  • Apply APQP, GD&T, and BOM management principles to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers to drive new product introduction and aftermarket activities forward.
Requirements:
  • Proven hands-on experience in hydraulics systems/components.
  • Proficiency in Creo software and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
