Job Description

The primary function of this role is to oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls across various business units. This includes identifying risks, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective internal controls.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate financial reporting risks.
  • Assess the current state of internal controls and develop remediation plans as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills and soft skills. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other business software applications.
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent preferred.
