Job Description

As a data engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering efficient ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or lakes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data workflows for production environments
  • Developing SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and analytics
  • Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions
  • Implementing data quality, governance, and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Kafka)
  • Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, complex joins)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools/processes (Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, Airflow)
  • Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables)
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
