Job Description:
- Our ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) and optimization techniques to achieve strength and stiffness targets.
- They will be responsible for fatigue life estimations for parent metal and weld connections, leveraging their knowledge of structural dynamics and modal analysis to determine dynamic responses under various excitations.
- A strong background in full-vehicle level NVH studies is required, including point mobility and local dynamic stiffness expertise. The successful candidate will also have experience with optimizations for target frequencies and dynamic responses.
- Furthermore, they must have an intuitive understanding of structural mechanics and problem-solving skills to identify countermeasures that are feasible from a manufacturing and assembly perspective.
- Exposure to multi-body dynamics simulations with flex-body analysis is an added advantage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Expertise in Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, Hypermesh, Ansa, Hyperview, and Metapost.
- B.E/M.E degree in Automotive or Mechanical engineering.
- 8 to 13 years of experience in NVH and durability analysis.
- Strong fundamentals of nonlinear FEA, optimization, and structural dynamics.
