Lead Data Scientist Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Scientist to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical and machine learning frameworks to solve complex business problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing scalable machine learning and deep learning solutions with a strong emphasis on large language models and Generative AI.
  • Building and optimizing training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment pipelines for large language models.
  • Applying Responsible AI principles to ensure fairness, explainability, and bias mitigation.
  • Leading applied research and incorporating cutting-edge Generative AI methods into production.
  • Building scalable data pipelines and end-to-end machine learning systems on cloud platforms.
  • Providing technical leadership to data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
  • Mentoring junior talent, establishing best practices, and influencing the data science roadmap.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into customer-facing platforms.
  • Managing project execution, continuous improvement, and strategy alignment.

Qualifications include:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
  • 8–12 years of applied data science/machine learning experience, with strong domain exposure to e-commerce, advertising, or retail.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on expertise in large language models, Generative AI, and natural language processing.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in guiding projects and teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud machine learning platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker).
  • Solid statistical foundation (hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, time-series).
  • Strong data engineering skills for ETL and large-scale dataset processing.
