Job Description:

The role of the Mechanical Project Manager involves overseeing the development and implementation of equipment for Cold Rolling Mills. This includes designing, managing deadlines, allocating resources, checking drawings, maintaining records, and utilizing software such as AutoCAD 2011, Autodesk Inventor 2013, and CREO for 3D modeling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising end-to-end project development and execution, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Additionally, they will manage project scope, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, draft project budgets, and recommend subsequent budget changes when necessary.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement equipment design and development plans for Cold Rolling Mills.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and quality control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mechanical project management, particularly in Cold Rolling Mill projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of CAD software, including AutoCAD 2011, Autodesk Inventor 2013, and CREO.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
