Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview

The position of Senior Manual Tester is a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software, platforms, and systems.

This individual will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to meet performance and reliability standards. They will work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software, platforms, and systems.
  • Functional Testing: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reporting and collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Test Coverage: Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Analysis and Feedback: Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance overall quality.
Requirements
  • Testing Methodologies: Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
  • Test Case Development: Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
  • Test Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
  • Agile Methodologies: Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification: Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
Experience
  • Hands-on Experience: 4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications.
  • Telecom Software Experience: Experience in telecom software or network management systems is a strong plus.
