India Financial Operations Specialist

As a fast-growing SaaS platform, we're looking for an experienced Finance Executive to streamline our India-specific finance operations.
This role offers a unique chance to own and manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations. You'll be responsible for handling creator/educator payouts, invoicing, and vendor payments while ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage accounting records, prepare financial statements, and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Process creator/educator payouts, invoices, and vendor payments efficiently.
- Ensure timely tax-related matters, audits, and monthly/quarterly closings are completed accurately.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve processes and optimize cash-flow management.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of finance/accounts experience, preferably in a startup/SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and compliances (GST, TDS, ROC).
- Proficiency in accounting tools (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
