Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Financial Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue Debit Notes from Corporate to all Intercompany entities;
- Account for all Debit/Credit notes received from Corporate and other Intercompany entities after thorough review and processing;
- Perform Intercompany account reconciliation and balance confirmation with other Intercompany entities as part of the monthly process;
- Create and update Vendor Card details as required in accordance with established processes;
- Coordinate with GL Coordinators of respective entities for clarification;
- Collaborate with Approvers to obtain approval before posting any General Ledger (GL) entries;
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of General Ledger and reconciliation of GL balance vs. Sub-Ledger;
- Download various reports from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system during the month-end process;
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) Reports, Revenue Flash Reports, and Monthly Reports;
- Reconcile GL Balance vs. Sub-Ledger;
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and ensure completeness of financial records;
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate discrepancies or anomalies;
- Maintain good knowledge of General Ledger Processes;
- Reconcile and manage Vendor Accounts based on aging reports;
- Worked under global AP, AR, and GL systems;
- Prepare month-end Journal Entries and have knowledge of debit/credit principles;
- Understand Book Keeping and Accounting Entry concepts;
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements;
- Upload positive pay checks and publish daily check details.
Requirements
- Familiarity with basic accounting standards and rules;
- Knowledge of ERP software, specifically Navision-Microsoft Dynamics and D-365;
- Availability to work flexible hours, preferably between 4 pm IST and 1 am IST;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Ability to coordinate with foreign entities and associates via email or phone;
- Previous experience working in medium/large outsourcing companies (5-6 years);
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification;
