Procurement Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our end-to-end procurement process.

About the Department

The procurement department plays a critical role in supporting our organization's goals by sourcing and managing high-quality vendors for solar components and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Procurement Oversight
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with project timelines and organizational objectives.
  • Cultivate and manage key vendor relationships at a senior level, driving collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement processes.
Vendor Development & Management
  • Identify, onboard, and evaluate reliable vendors for solar components and services, ensuring quality, performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts and strategic alliances with suppliers to drive business value.
  • Maintain transparent documentation and reporting mechanisms for audits and internal controls.
Cost Optimization & Commercial Evaluation
  • Analyze supplier quotations, conduct thorough commercial evaluations, and benchmark pricing and procurement terms across the industry.
  • Develop and implement cost-control strategies to optimize procurement spend and minimize financial risk.
  • Monitor material requirement plans and proactively address supply risks or delays.
Process Compliance & Documentation
  • Evaluate and ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies, statutory guidelines, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve escalated supplier disputes or operational bottlenecks.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Drive effective collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams to achieve project goals.
  • Resolve complex procurement-related issues through diplomatic negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to build capability and performance, establishing clear KPIs and monitoring progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.
