Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Operations Director to oversee the entire supply chain function, encompassing procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution. This strategic leader will develop and implement effective strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Purchase Order Generation & Vendor Management:
    • Ensure accurate PO generation in compliance with organizational policies.
    • Evaluate and register vendors, negotiating commercial and contractual terms.
  • Material Dispatch & Logistics:
    • Coordinate smooth and timely material dispatches based on customer requirements and project deadlines.
    • Monitor logistics activities for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with E-way bills and challans.
  • Material & Inventory Management:
    • Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking.
    • Regularly review stock reports for accurate inventory tracking.
  • Invoicing & Documentation:
    • Oversight of vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing for accuracy and timeliness.
    • Compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • MIS & Reporting:
    • Generate SCM-related MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
    • Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
    • Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Drive process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing. Proficiency in ERP/SCM software, advanced MS Excel skills, and excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills are essential. Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability is required.

Requirements:
  • Qualification: B.Tech in Electricals or Electronics (Mandatory).
  • Experience: Up to 20 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
