Subject Matter Expert Panel Manager

About the Role:

This managerial cum support role involves overseeing and coordinating large numbers of Subject Expert panels, while working closely with other Subject Administrators to fulfill project requirements.

Years of Experience: 10 to 20 years

Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality Question Banks are developed for Assessments
  • Manage Question Banks by structuring and designing them; setting quality standards for writing and review in respective domains
  • Track inventory and maintain optimum levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects
  • Manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): define selection criteria and strategy, monitor SME performance quality, train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects, coordinate extensively with SMEs for all test development activities
  • Create test designs in subjects of expertise and coordinate with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets
  • Support Lead Subject Administrators in delivering projects and other requirements as per organizational needs
  • Analyze questions post-exam, report to higher management
Qualifications
  • Subject competency in school subjects up to 12th level as per NCERT Syllabus
  • Broader understanding of education systems in the country and NCERT/CBSE/Boards
  • Experience working in the education sector related to Assessment & Evaluation - Test Designs/Blueprints, Question Development
  • Good command over English, both written and spoken
  • Good command over spoken Hindi

  • Proficiency required in at least one of the following skills: Engineering, Mathematics & Physics, Chemistry & Biology
