Interior Design Assistant Role

Schedule: Day shift, Location: In Office.

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Interior Designer to support our team in managing various interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with the lead designer to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Collaborate with the lead designer to provide effective support for all design projects;
  • Accompany the lead designer during client meetings at job sites and showrooms to understand clients' requirements and preferences;
  • Prepare detailed meeting notes, take measurements, and photos of projects for documentation purposes;
  • Develop CAD drawings for client projects based on provided specifications;
  • Research and provide information on interior decoration trends, materials, and pricing for clients;
  • Place orders, purchase materials, pick up and deliver as required by clients;
  • Submit receipts for all purchases and orders made on behalf of clients;
  • Track and communicate the status of orders to ensure timely delivery;
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during project execution;
  • Manage spreadsheets to keep track of client selections and finish materials;
  • Coordinate schedules for designers, contractors, clients, and vendors;
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns regarding project updates;
  • Meet with vendors and assist with installations when necessary;
  • Submit detailed time logs (billable and non-billable) and mileage records monthly;
  • Monitor daily client spreadsheet for new tasks and update task status at the end of each day.
