**About the Role**: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Principal Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This individual will work on designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and scalable web applications with our current UI team. They'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to our technical strategy, and significantly influence our front-end architecture.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.

  • Create and implement user interface components
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into code
  • Ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience
Responsibilities:
  1. Technically drive and mentor a team of UI developers, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the design and development process.
  2. Conduct design reviews, perform QA checks, and ensure the final product meets high-quality standards and design vision.
  3. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  4. Create and maintain documentation for UI components and design decisions.
  5. Lead modernizing and improving existing legacy systems to meet current performance and usability expectations.

Core Technologies: Proficient in Vue/AngularJS, Python for backend. Experienced with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.

Methodologies: Familiarity with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Performance Testing tools and methodologies. Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks, and with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional front-end development experience, including at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
