Job Title

 

This role involves leading the planning, execution, and management of testing strategies across various projects. You will be responsible for defining test plans, overseeing execution, and ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive testing strategies for software implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Review and approve test plans, cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Ensure effective defect management, root cause analysis, and resolution within agreed timelines.
  • Provide regular test progress updates, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Adhere to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, quality assurance (QA) best practices, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field, with 12+ years of experience in IT Testing, including at least 6–8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs in Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x – 14.x).
  • Hands-on experience in test strategy design, effort estimation, resource planning, and test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, and General Ledger.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar) for functional and performance testing.
  • Experience in digital core transformation projects an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills with proven ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
