Job Title: Backend Engineer – Generative AI

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design and develop robust, scalable backend systems using Python for integrations with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • The ideal candidate will develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support LLM-based applications.
  • Candidates should be able to collaborate with the team to integrate LLMs into our ecosystem and build context-aware Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
Requirements:Technical Skills:
  • The successful candidate will have strong experience in Python programming, including libraries like NLTK, Spacy, FastAPI, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, FastMCP, Pandas.
  • A deep understanding of REST API development, backend microservices, and production-ready codebases is required.
  • Experience working with SQL and data modeling across both SQL and NoSQL systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Specialization:
  • Candidates should have practical experience with LLM ecosystems and frameworks like Langchain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Agnos, AutoGPT, or Semantic Kernel.
  • Experience building RAG pipelines with Vector stores (e.g., Chroma, Qdrant, Pinecone), Embedding models, chunking, and token window optimization is desired.
  • Integrating with OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, Hugging Face, etc. is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with federated query tools like Trino or Athena is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native deployments (GCP/GKE, AWS/EKS) is a bonus.
  • A background in privacy-aware computing, data security, or compliance-driven design is highly valued.
