Cloud Architecture Position

Job Description:

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing cloud architecture strategies to support business growth and innovation.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to design and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Providing guidance and expertise on cloud computing technologies and best practices.
  • Leading and participating in RFP/bid processes, preparing technical solutions, costing, and proposals.
  • Presenting solutions to C-level executives and technical teams; delivering POCs and integration architectures.
  • Providing detailed architecture/design (HLD), requirement gathering, and creation of bill of materials/pricing.
  • Demonstrating expertise in cloud architecture (multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, DevOps, migration, security, elasticity, etc.).
  • Collaborating with business, cloud architecture, product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver robust customer solutions.
  • Mentoring teammates on cloud standards, frameworks, and driving cloud adoption.
  • Developing cloud reference architectures and management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing/delivering projects with hyperscalers (Azure, OCI, GCP) and private cloud (VMware, Redhat, Oracle PCA).
  • Led multiple end-to-end cloud transformation and consulting engagements, including maturity assessments and roadmap definition.
  • Expertise in cloud-native services (Compute, Networking, Storage, DBaaS, CDN, Alerting, etc.) and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE).
  • Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud automation, and scripts (Python, JavaScript, Ansible).
  • Cloud architect certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
