Job Title: Public Relations Communications Specialist

About the Role:

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR and communication strategies to enhance our reputation and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public relations and communication strategies to achieve business objectives and drive results.
  • Manage relationships with media outlets to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Create engaging content using design tools such as Canva and Photoshop to captivate our audience.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets to maximize exposure.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities to inform our strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Effectively handle crisis communication to protect our brand's reputation.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in public relations and communication is required.
  • A postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Photoshop is essential.
  • Strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are desirable.
