Job Title: ISO 27001 Information Security Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of an ISO 27001 Information Security Auditor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on ISO 27001 audits. This will involve evaluating the effectiveness of information security controls, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and identifying areas for improvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Thiruvananthapuram, India. The auditor will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and provide auditing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of information security controls to ensure they align with industry standards.
  • Ensuring that clients' information security management systems meet ISO 27001 standards.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance security controls.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitoring the auditing process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
  • Skills in IT Audit and Information Security Management, including experience in Cybersecurity and Network Security.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or similar are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Previous experience in auditing, preferably in the ISO 27001 standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. They will also have a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
